I'm sorry.  I know that I haven't been doing what I should with this thing, but...I've just been feeling really awkward.

There's this guy I really like... I get this weird feeling around his best friend, which is why I havent' asked him out yet.  See, I don't want to hurt her feelings, but...

...Maybe I should just ask him out.

Yeah!  That way, I can get it out of my system because I KNOW he'll say 'no,' and then I can get over it, and I don't have to worry about getting his friend upset!  I really don't want to hurt her feelings, she's a really nice person.

Okay then-- the next chance I get, I'll try!

Hmph.  Well, we didn't have another fire alarm this week (although I can't say I'm surprised), so classes were hell all week.  I got assigned to this guy from another class-- Sasuke-- and I've been getting dirty looks from other girls ever since the annoucement!  Unbelieveable-- I've never even met the guy and I've already got fangirls on me. DX  I'll bet he thinks he's some sort of chick magnet, too.

(Sigh) I know that's terrible of me to say, but still... it just annoys me when girls get that way over some dumb guy.  Maybe I'll have a better impression of Ichira-san when I meet him.

Well, one good thing that happened this week... I did get to know this guy in our class when I went to the library.  At first I kinda thought he was just... kinda antisocial, but he's really nice.  And very easy to talk to, really.  He said I remind him of this friend of his... I guess that's a good thing...

Gahh!  Why the hell am I blushing?!

I heard he's actually the Soccer captain... maybe I'll go see him when they play... just for friendly reasons, of course.

Man, the week's already off to a crazy start.  We got out of the History test 'cause someone pulled the fire alarm-- Don't know who it was, though.

I saw Kuga-sensei and Haruhi-san over the weekend after work-- I gotta say, I didn't expect for the P.E. teacher to have... that.

Here's hoping we're equally lucky with the rest of our classes this week :D

Well, Cheerleading's gonna be starting before long-- I gotta say I'm excited!

However, I'm pissed at the stupid History teacher-- as if I didn't have enough to worry about, now I got 3 chapters to read!  Gahh, my weekend's ruined...

Oh wait.  That's  what my job was already doing. DX

First week--completed

Oct. 27th, 2007 | 12:32 pm

Man, we're getting a lot of late arrivals for school this week.  Jeez, if I'd known that I could show up after a week, I wouldn't have bothered coming!

Grr... oh well, at least I can meet some more new people.   maybe I'll even be able to get a new lab partner for Science (since my loser partner doesn't even seem to  be at this school anymore) or something.

Job's still hard, but I'm learning how to deal with the ko-gal skanks just fine.  It's amazing how gratifying fake friendliness is XD  Talked to Sosuke during my lunch hour once-- he's a really nice guy (and straight too, apparently), but it looks like he's dating someone.  Gahh, I don't know why I get my hopes up.

Oh-- and the first Cheerleading meeting is coming up... hopefully I won't make a complete idiot out of myself...

Un....believable.

Well, the good (?) news is we finally have a homeroom/Math teacher.  The bad news is that HE'S A COMPLETE PERVERT!!!  Gahh, how much bad karma have I built up in my past life?!?!  And it didn't help that he was giving me these weird looks all period...-_-  Jeez, over this guy I'll gladly take Kakashi-sensei-- at least HE seems to know what he's doing.

On the other hand, he seems more focused on skirt-chasing then on teaching, so maybe this year I'll actually be able to skate through math?  I dunno.

Well, now I've gotta get some English homework done before I head off to work... gah, I need a day off already DX

School, work, roomie

Oct. 24th, 2007 | 11:01 am

So far, school's not going too badly.  I've gotten used to my teachers somewhat-- History (I have to admit) is pretty interesting and I still loathe my Science class, but other than that, it's okay.  My Japanese teacher is still kinda flaky, but I like her.  We don't quite have a math teacher yet, but we do have a really nice nurse now and  a hot librarian... maybe I should be studying in the library more :)

As for work, the job's still tough, but getting better-- My supervisor's a lot less bitchy now that I'm getting the hang of things.  Plus, Sara's a big help when it comes to dealing with the really prissy customers... (how she can still be working here I have no idea...)

And my roommate, Saruka-san, finally showed up!  She moved in yesterday and seems really energetic and friendly.  I think we're gonna get along just fine :D

First day! (Edit: Revenge of the first day!)

Oct. 22nd, 2007 | 12:14 pm

It's the first day of school!  Hard to believe that it was just summer break.  But I guess no use crying over spilt milk and all that...

Well first off, we don't have a homeroom teacher.  WTH? Doesn't this place care about the students who scrounge and save to get here enough to hire a full staff?!?!?

Aside from that, Class 1-B seems pretty good.  I already met Kaoru-kun and Hikaru-kun (he he... they remind me a little of these twins from this English book series about a boy wizard), and they're really nice (if a little too close...).  Tomoyo-chan and Syaoran-kun are easy enough to get along with, but I haven't met the other student in our room yet, Hanato-kun.  Guess I'll just have to wait and see what he's like.

I got all my stuff packed in this morning to the dorms, and I got my roommate assignment.  Looks like I'll be sharing Room 101 with this girl named Haruno Sakura, another first year.  I hope we get along...

Edit: All right, I've gone through all my classes now, and I have to say things went pretty well.  As it turned out, our homeroom teacher is also the open slot for the Math teacher, so NO MATH!!! 8D

...But I guess that means we'll probably get started right away when they eventually show up...DX

Anyway, here's the rundown of my day...

New Job... in hell... kind of.

Oct. 20th, 2007 | 07:23 pm

Well, I got back from my first day at work a few hours ago.  It took me that long just to recover enough to write this.

Well, even if I have to work to stay alive, it doesn't look like it'll be too bad.  Hell, I managed to get a job in Shibuya 109, of all places! 8D

Specifically, it's a shop called 'Momo,' and they carry a lot of trendy clothes and accessories-- I'm hoping I do well there; I tend to screw up a lot when things get busy.  Oh well, as long as it pays the bills...

On a side note, it looks like Suzuran is allowing applications for students to live on-campus.  Should be a good chance to meet and hang out with some other people outside of classes, and chances are it'll be less than renting out an apartment.  Though I'm worried now about what I'll do when classes end for the summer 8/

Ahhh, I can't let myself worry so much!  I should just focus on getting through school for now, then deal with that later.  Not to mention that my first day on the job is Saturday, so I'll need to find something decent to wear...

pre-semester thoughts

Oct. 16th, 2007 | 05:45 pm

Well, I guess high school's gonna start soon-- I have to say I'm a little nervous.  I almost wish Mugen and Jin were going here, but so far it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.  Jin's school is so high-end it's surprising we even talk, whereas that jerk Mugen... (grr) he's probably just scraping by as it is.  So, naturally, I have to walk the 'Middle Path' between those two and go to Suzuran all on my own.

I'm not too worried, though-- it's a good chance to meet new people.  I'm gonna do what I can to make my dad proud of me... and mom, too!

I decided to go ahead and get my schedule from the school's website for my homeroom 1-B, which is the following...

1-B:
09:00-09:50:
Math.
10:00-10:50: Japanese.
11:00-11:50: History.
12:00-12:45: Lunch.
12:45-01:35: P.E.
01:45-02:35: English.
02:45-03:35: Science.

Gah!  Math right off the bat?!  Who did I piss off to deserve this?  Not to mention Science at the end... D:
Oh well, I guess Japanese'll take the edge off Math, and then it's only one period left before lunch...:D
